Farm Sanctuary Manager Our Farm Sanctuary Manager plays the lead role on our animal care and farm management team. This position requires both recent direct working experience caring for large or farm animals and proven people management skills. This is a full-time salaried position preferably for someone interested in residing on-site. Applicants should possess a passion for farm animal advocacy and strong vegan ethic.
Animal Caregivers at Graze in Peace provide our rescued resident animals with daily food, water and medications. They assist the Farm Sanctuary Manager with health checkups, vet visits and record-keeping. They also train and lead daily volunteer assistants to maintain clean and healthy living environments and a safe and presentable farm environment. Part-Time Animal Caregivers work 5-6 morning or evening chore shifts/week (approx. 15 hours/week) under the guidance of our Farm Sanctuary Manager.
Animal Care Intern Animal Care Interns gain valuable knowledge and hands-on sanctuary experience in essential and compassionate farm animal care while working alongside our experienced caregiver staff. Internships can be long-term or short-term and last for a minimum of 1 semester or 4-month period.
Communications Intern Ideal for anyone interested in offering their time and skills while gaining professional experience in non-profit public relations, marketing and outreach work. Internships can be long-term or short-term and last for a minimum of 1 semester or 4-month period.
